satan IS SO STUPID

satan is so stupid. The more trials he gives us, the closer we get to God. The closer we get to God, the stronger His army becomes. The stronger and more powerful His army becomes, the weaker satan is. satan is so stupid. Good for us. Bad for the evil one. Think about it.

Your car breaks down. You tow it to the shop. While you’re waiting for the repair estimate, you’re praying aren’t you? You’re praying you have enough cab fare, because damned if you’re taking public transportation home. Better yet, you’re praying your credit card isn’t maxed out, while you’re scheduling your uber ride. Then you’re praying the cost of the repairs is covered under your car warranty and that it’ll be fixed by tomorrow so you can get to work. So you pray.

You’ve studied so long and so hard for a test. It’s the test to beat all tests in complexity and necessity. You NEED to pass this test to progress to the next step in your career, education or whatever. You walk in that building after praying all day and all night, right up until you sit for that test. During and after you take the test, you’re still praying and seeking God and asking Him to bless you with a passing mark. You pray continuously.

You’re loved one that you’ve depended on for all of your life, is unexpectedly sick. You can’t stand to see them like this. You start to pray. You pray for miraculous healing. Faithful remission. One hundred percent rehabilitation. You pray when you wake up, while you’re driving, at work, at the gym, before you go to sleep, and when you wake up again. You pray.

You had an unexpected bill pop up out of nowhere. You’re short on your rent, mortgage, car note, cell phone bill, credit card payments or whatever. You’re sweating and nervous and worried about your finances. You pray. You pray for God to help you pay your bills. You pray for a raise. You pray for a promotion with a raise. You pray to win lotto. Still you pray.

Your kids are draining the living life force out of you. You feel like they have a permanent straw attached to your insides as they suck your very being dry. But everytime they leave the house, up until the very moment they come home, you pray. The entire time they’re gone, you pray. You pray for their safety, their health, their wisdom and their everything . . . all day, everyday. Day in and day out. And you pray for your own strength because you just know that you’re going to give yourself a heart attack worrying over them. So you pray . . . 24/7 you pray.

And everytime you turn on the TV or read social media and you see another act of terrorism, racism, sexism, classism, and all of the other isms, you pray. You pray for the culprits to be punished. You pray for safety. You pray for help. You pray for peace.

Yeah, some these may seem like selfish, self-absorbed prayers meant to benefit you and you alone. You want your car fixed. You want to pass that test. You want your family member alive and well. You want your money straight. satan is laughing at how self absorbed and one-sided your prayers seem, but look closer. You’re talking to God.

This begging and pleading and talking and asking God . . . that’s all praying. Simply talking to God is praying. You don’t have to open a Bible to talk to Him. You don’t have to go to church to talk to Him. You don’t have to kneel to talk to Him. You just have to talk to Him. Go to Him just as you are. Seek Him. Pray to Him. He really likes that. And He’s always available. You can ask Him. Be silent with Him. Plead to Him. Sing to Him. Explain to Him. Read to Him. Say grace to Him. Heck, you can even yell at Him. That’s all praying. Just don’t forget to thank Him. And praise Him.

I love a good trial. OK, maybe not. But I’m telling you, every single time a situation comes up, we pray. And when we pray, we draw closer to Him. And the more of us that draw closer to Him, the larger His army becomes. And everyone knows there’s strength in numbers so . . . the stronger His army becomes, the more fearful the evil one becomes. Yep, satan is hella dumb. And the more we pray, the dumber he becomes, the closer we draw to God.
