We live here on this earth in the natural. This is where we pay bills, go to work, party, go to school and get sick. There’s another realm that I’ve become familiar with . . . the spiritual realm. This is where God and all good things live. This is also where the evil one and all bad things reside.
No I’m not crazy. No I don’t hear voices. No I don’t use drugs. I see. I now see very clearly what so few can understand. It only took heartbreak, a fifteen pound involuntary weight loss and coming to know Jesus in a very personal and intimate way to see everything so clearly. The clouds are gone from my eyes. The shields are down. I get it and I see.
Everyday that we are fortunate enough to wake up, God and His angels are there protecting us. We are shielded from forces we can’t see or even imagine. Those horror movies that we love to watch are probably not very far off from what we’re sheltered from every second of every day of our lives. If you only knew what’s out there. Sure there’s terrorism, racism, classism, sexism, and every other ism you can imagine. Sure there’s murder, sickness, death, accidents, foreclosures, heated arguments, drug and child abuse, mental illness, and more. It’s all terrible, horrible, heartbreaking, disgusting, and disheartening. But what you can’t see is what should really terrify you.
As I involuntarily (under duress and against my free will) came to know Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I saw. I sought clarity from Him. I asked Him to remove the clouds and the shields from my eyes. Slowly He did. I didn’t like what He showed me but now I know. And now that I know I have to pass it on. He is real. His angels are real. And they’re all on duty 24/7 with no shift changes, raises or vacation time.
