SO? DID YOU DO IT?

So. Did you do it? Did you kick satan and his posse out of YOUR house? Did you open YOUR front door REALLY wide and escort them out, into the depths of hell, and into all dry places, NEVER to return EVER again? Did you send them all packing and forbid them from EVER coming back into YOUR house? Did you make SURE they know that’s YOUR house. . . NOT theirs? Did you tell them they’re NOT welcome because YOUR house is too full with YOUR family and the Holy Trinity? Did you make sure that as you shoved them through YOUR front door, you invited the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in, to stay foreva and eva, in YOUR house. . . in the name of Jesus? Did you?

Did you reclaim YOUR house as YOURS and NOT theirs? Did you proclaim it loud and clear to the evil one, so there would be NO mistake or misunderstandings going forward? Did you tell that bugger that you are NOT afraid of him, or them, because with God by your side YOU are the boss of YOUR house? Of YOUR domain? Of YOUR sanctuary? Did you tell the evil one that YOUR kids, man, woman, pets, money and any and everything else that falls under YOUR roof, are off limits? Forever? Did you stick out your chest and cock up your chin as you DEMANDED that they leave YOUR place of peace . . . in the name of Jesus? Did you?

Were they scared? Did they flee from YOUR rage? Did they shiver with fear each time you called Jesus by name? Did you sense their cowardness? Did you hone in on their confusion when they realized YOU meant business? Serious business? Did you feel them tremble and quake at YOUR strength? The strength they NEVER, EVER, EVER, thought you EVER had? Did you laugh hysterically at them as they ran? Did you sense them tripping and stumbling as they feverishly knocked each other out of the way to escape YOUR wonderfully, pissed off, glorious, anger-filled, wrath? Did you shake your head in pity at them? Did you tell them they’re ALL a joke. A joke that fell flat? Did they exit rapidly as you forced them out . . . in the name of Jesus? Did they?

Did you slam your front door behind them, take a deep breath, and smile? Did you feel victorious? Strong? Confident? Invinsible? Did you immediately feel peace? Calmness? Serenity? Did you feel grateful? Appreciative? Gracious? Comforted? Did you feel hugged? Loved? Safe? Did you feel Jesus?
